The beauty of variegated yarn is best revealed with quite simple stitches. A combination of 3 rows with basic crochet stitches was chosen to create this soft and drapey top that can be paired with skirts, jeans and shorts, layered over shirts, dresses and even turtleneck sweaters. The beautiful asymmetric edge will add an eye-catching finish to your look whether at work or socializing.

This project is suitable for cotton-rayon, cotton-bamboo or cotton-silk Fingering-weight/4 ply yarn. Besides you can create one of a kind textured fabric by working some rows with yarn left overs of different weight (ply or thickness). Great results are achieved with yarn of the same hue like in the original top.

This crochet top pattern is provided for sizes:
S with bust circumference 85-90 cm (33.5-35.5’’);
M with bust circumference 92-97 cm (36-38’’);
L with bust circumference 99-104 cm (39-41’’).

The item is worked top down and you will be able to regulate the length as you go, making a top, tunic or even a dress.

Yarn: Fingering / 4 ply / 350-370 m in 100 gr / 380-400 yards in 3.5 oz. Sample was made with yarn leftovers (510 yards totally) and variegated yarn Ella by Lang Yarns (520 yards). Total yarn usage: 870 – 1200 yards (800 – 1100 m).
